(no subject)
Halfway through my infusions, and once again it rained. So far, someone different has set me up each time, and the nurse who did it this time had the hardest time finding a vein (usually there isn't any trouble at all). She tapped my arm a million times and poked my hand a lot more than usual, but she got it in and set it up a little better than the others have so far, actually.
There were two other ladies in the room, which meant that we watched the shows on Food Network (I don't know why this is, other than there's nothing much on at 3 pm), and the following happened.
TV Host: Now I'm going to make zucchini cakes
One lady: That must be like a carrot cake
Other lady: Sounds good.
TV Host: Mix together an egg, chopped onions, and parmesan cheese
Us: O_o
Me: Oh, it's probably like potato pancakes.
And it was. They looked good, so I printed out the recipe, and a couple of others that were on the show.
I've realized that I should probably start thinking about the special project I need to do in order to graduate, but all the instructions about it are so vague that I really don't know what to do. I'll probably do something like analyze the music collections of various libraries in the state or something.
