Ian had a run-in with the ground....
Now he has four smaller kneecaps where there once was one big one. But at least they're trapped inside a softball-sized mass of fluid that is completely unrecognizable as the bony English knee it used to be.
The X-rays look awesome though. Fuck yeah! X-ray machines have been improved since I last broke somthing....they're all digital now. How futuristic.
No rollerbooting for 3-6 months, give or take. At least when I go to florida for New Years (which would have been to skate) I'll be staying with my friend who is an amazing physical therapist. Crazy how these series of strange and impactful events all seem to coincide in some fashion.
In other news, I kick ass. I'm such a freakin' rockstar!
I discovered that, contrary to my previously-held belief, morphine does not make you go all loopy, just numb and relaxed. It was very mellow.
I have lots of time to practice my jedi telekinesis skills. I've made huge strides in the last two weeks. (You think I'm kidding....)
