Stepping out onto an iron grate platform is where all destined events occur. Trains are, of course, romantic; but where all of love, loss and libido occur is when you’ve set foot on the ground.
God made it that way, some (many) think. Why else were humans given such solid structures as feet? Being on the ground is what we are meant for.
