I'm going.  My fictional Welsh boyfriend will be there.  I found this out through a squee-worthy phone call from my BFF, and now, we have a room, have submitted for panels and plotted the best way to stare at him, and all this in less than 9 hours.

I will though, sink into my chair and deny any part of the fandom if people ask him about is slash.

last year we (bubbleslayer, oneofaradia and I) had a drink and chatted with Ron Glass & Erick Avari outside of the dance then.. we danced a bit with Erick who asked a girl we had been hanging out with for a dance.

But again bring the mojitos. I'll bring the cookies....

Ack, yes, rabid fans who mob are terrifying. The last time I went to Polaris, there were four of us who just stood at a distance appreciating the view that is Michael Shanks. He happened to be there and so did we. Following guests around is just generally (to quote Firefly) creepifying.
