Game of Thrones 2x02
- Between last week's episode and this week's episode tumblr made me start shipping Arya/Gendry, and this episode was basically delightful on that front. UGH I COULD WATCH THEM BEING ADORABLE AND TEASING EACH OTHER AND SHOVING EACH OTHER AND ADMITTING THEIR SECRETS TO ONE ANOTHER FOREVERRRR.
- GDI, Game of Thones, did you have to give me Daenerys/Rakharo shippy feels and then kill Rakharo one episode later?? GoT SHIPPING IS SUCH A DANGEROUS SPORT.
- I continue to maybe kind of like Cercei! She is clearly not a nice person, but nor are half the other people I like, so eh. The only thing I have reserves about are that she is on the same side as Joffrey, but I guess I can blame that on her suffering from the type of parent hormones that make people love their children even when their children are right bastards.
- Also I love watching her and Tyrion exchanging barbed remarks. YES, GOOD, CONTINUE. YOU ARE BOTH SO GOOD AT FINDING PEOPLE'S WEAKSPOTS AND TWISTING KNIVES IN THEM. :DDD
- Speaking of Tyrion, he is as delightful as ever. I'm not super into his girlfriend, but I don't actively dislike her either, so whatever. AND I LOVE HIM POLITICING EVERYWHERE YES. \o/
- Can Dany please get to murderate something soon? I PREFER HER FULL OF BURNING RAGE.

- As soon as Yara Greyjoy showed up, I was like "Greyjoy family member?" and then as soon as Theon started really going for it with her I was like "TOTALLY HIS SISTER". DEAR GAME OF THRONES, I CAN SEE YOU THERE, TRYING TO SQUICK ME OUT. IT IS NOT WORKING. (Beyond being kinda embarassment squicked by Theon hitting on anyone.)
- Yara seems cool! I LIKE HER.
- I am less fond of their dad, but I enjoy immensely how the Northerners are always mocking the Sotherners for being soft, but the Greyjoys think the Starks are soft. Yes, good, amusing. Gold or iron, indeed.
- I do feel a smidge sorry of Theon being caught between two houses, buuut I can't say I disapprove of him being taken down a peg.
- I still have basically zero interest in Stannis and his crew. Except maybe that pirate. Unless he actually does start raping people, I am pretty ready to like him.
- HELLO GHOST, HI, HOW ARE YOU? I LIKE YOUR FACE. :3

- Jon is pretty and continues to exist. I HAVE SO LITTLE TO SAY ABOUT HIM. I find him a lot more interesting when he is interacting with other Starks and/or Tyrion Lannister. HOPEFULLY HE WILL GET TO DO THAT AGAIN SOMEDAY? I hear in the books he thinks of Arya sometimes, which TBH, if I was reading him thinking about his family, rather than just see him looking sad and thoughtful, I'd probably find him a lot more engaging.
- But he is very pretty.
- Oooo ~whitewalkers~ ooo stealing babies oooo. WHERE IS THIS GOING.
As per usual, I have not read the books, please don't tell me anything about anything yet to happen.
