I'm only really peripherally aware of it. What's the tone of the show?

I think Veronica Mars is FAR better than Hawaii 5-0, but H50 is good during the first season for plot, angst, gay subtext, beautiful scenery, and the team dynamic - plus the cast is GORGEOUS. Alex O'Loughlin will not leave my head. And Grace Park... hnnngh. The second season... is kinda eh for awhile, with a few gem episodes. It's gotten better in the later episodes, but still has all that delicious angst and gay subtext.

Veronica Mars, however, is PHENOMENAL. I know some people have a lot of issues with the third season, but I loved all of it. It's crazy and Kristen Bell is amazing and witty and beautiful. Just be prepared for ALL the suspense.

Nope! I am somewhat aware of it, because it's hard not to be. Is the humour at all embarassment squicky? For some reason I have the idea that it might be, but I'm sure where I got that idea from. I'm kind of ridiculously sensitive to people making fools of themselves, though, which has made me kind of wary, despite the fact I have no idea if I actually have any reason to be.

My two cents: VMars S1 is amazing, but beyond that... *koff* Heh. GenKill is good if you like war stuff, otherwise nothing special. Arrested Development is clever but I got sick of it + especially didn't care for the main character. I feel like I could watch more of that show in groups of ppl but not on my own. (Altho I also am not much of a sitcom person, so, and if you are you would prolly like it.) Legend of the Seeker is fairly horrible, tho there's this one ep with gr8 torture that I love haha. I've wanted to maybe watch some of OUAT and The Vampire Diaries but haven't yet.

Basically, idk, I'd vote for VMars but mostly just for S1 haha.

I've fallen endlessly behind on MLP:FiM and I think I just ended up kinda quitting it out of laziness, oops. (Story of my tv lyfe.)
