I have been kind of away from fandom lately, so I'm kind of late on this, but oh my god what the fuck has delicious done? DDDDD:
At first glace I thought they'd just made their interface a little harder to navigate, but it turns out, no, no, they've just straight up removed a whole bunch of the site's functionality. And the more I read the more stuff I find out they've ruined. What the fuck. Apparently they're planning on putting some of it back, but whatever. What this person said. Ugh.
Right now I'm not sure if I should jump ship to Pinboard, or wait it out until fandom creates it's own delicious (which someone suggested be named fic.ticio.us, which, NGL, I would join for the name alone). Given that it took at least a year for AO3 to get going, I'm thinking springing $9 for Pinboard in the mean time might be worth it. (There is also, I guess, the possibility that the 'fannish delicious' thing won't get off the ground, but seeing what fandom has created when it's felt betrayed by non-fannish websites in the past, I'm actually pretty confident it will go somewhere.)
Either way, I will be over here mourning my bundles. ;__; THEY WERE SO BEAUTIFUL.
