There's a human rights film festival going on where I live, and this evening they showed Milk, which I went to see for the first time. I really liked it. I teared up twice, during the scene where they defeated Prop 6, and during the candlelit march at the end. It makes me want to find some politics to be involved in, despite how cynical and jaded with the political system I tend to be. I JUST WANT TO MAKE LARGE SCALE CHANGES FOR THE BETTER. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK. Rarr, human rights, I cares about them.
