So, the kink meme is over. I counted up, and I posted 26 prompts. Ha, yeah, I know. I'm kinky. Ten of them have been written, which I think is probably a pretty awesome written:unwritten ratio (although there are a couple prompts which I really wished had got written which didn't1). Mainly I don't mind so much whether my prompts were getting written, so much as whether prompts I liked were getting written, and that included way, way, way more than just 26 of them. *grins* *loves the meme*
I picked up a few new kinks, and was surprised by some of the stuff I found brain meltingly hot. I will have to ponder a few of them a bit further. (Apparently I have a bit of a humiliation kink? Which is really weird given that I also have a pretty strong embarrassment squick. I guess whether my reaction is squick or kink depends on what the form of humiliation is and who it's in front of. Or, huh, maybe it just depends on how the character who is humiliated reacts to it? I know that if a writer can really convince me that all the characters involved get off on whatever they are writing about they can make me find nearly anything hot. But, hmm. I think there is more to my interest than just an interest in good writing. See? This definitely requires more pondering.)
I wasn't really guessing I identities so I'm mostly kinda boring on that front. I wish I was better at that sort of thing, but for the most part just sitting there going "I have no idea who wrote this? Someone good at porn!". I was thinking: "Is that you, thenyxie?" while I was reading Caught Red-Handed though. Ha, I guess that makes my all of my guesses 100% correct!
In conclusion: It was so fabulous. <333 I hope it happens again sometime. Although not so soon that I haven't had a chance to recover from the porn overdose. *__* It worked extremely well at getting me through the end of hiatus; I had been developing some hiatus-apathy before the meme, but then the meme showed up and I couldn't be anything but ridiculously enthusiastic over that, and now the new episode is practically on top of us already! A++ to the meme for distracting me enough that the new episode could sneak up on me.
1 WHY DOESN'T SAM/MATT GET ANY LOVE? WHY??? Somewhere out there there is someone who would totally enjoy writing this idea. I just don't know where they are or how to sneakily convince them into it.
