[Loki is standing near enough an entrance to the fort for the zombies' rather repetitive calls to be heard.]I revise my previous statement regarding the stench of this realm. Or rather, I believe my comment was premature. In my optimism, I suppose I neglected the idea that it could ever worsen. A mistake I shall not soon be permitted to forget, I' ( Read more... )

[This realm? Curiouser and curiouser.]

I doubt it'll last long, if that's what you're worried about.

Figure of speech, mate. [It wasn't, but it could have been!] Havin' trouble with the locals?

None that I cannot handle. The odor is truly unpleasant, however. I wonder if there might be a way it can be alleviated.

[Asgard, Asgard... That was old Norse, wasn't it? Well, she'd heard of stranger places being real.]

Asgardian... Bit far from home, I'd wager. Even compared t'the rest of us. [Oh wait, manners.] Sorry, I'm Rose.

Indeed. Though with far greater an idea of how to return.

[..Welp. Up go the eyebrows there; she's heard of Loki. And hey, are you saying he isn't a troublemaker? But all the same, Rose isn't prejudice.]

Well if you figure a way out, be sure to tell the class. S'a pleasure, Loki.

Likewise.

[Another pause. To share with her or not to share? Information is valuable, but then, there's very little likelihood a woman from some alternate version of Midgard would be able to use it anyway.]

The ley lines of old which connect this realm to the other eight. I intend to travel home using them. The trick would seem to be having the will to travel off of our chosen path.

[Hm. If this was the actual Loki... Or at least Loki from a universe. She'd have to ask the Doctor about it; just another thing to add to the list. -- And information is always good.]

That's the.. The Rainbow Bridge or somethin', yeah? The um- The Bifröst? Not surprised it's not working. I think whatever's keeping us here is blocking all sorts of .. dimensional travel. Mine wasn't working, either.

No. The Bifröst was created by the Allfather as a means of traveling between realms more easily. The ley lines correspond to the branches of the world tree. Using them, one can climb through its levels. I believe only one bars us from Asgard.
