Whomever felt it was a good idea to shoot at a snake, I ask that you locate me and hand your firearm over.

If there are multiple individuals, that applies to you all. If you are so skittish that you pull the trigger under the slightest provocation, you do not need to be armed.

Agreed.

I much prefer us having guns over the ...crazy people shooting at snakes.

If one must use a gun against a snake, the odds are better using the butt of it.

I'd think so, but I've never actually fought snakes. Still wouldn't shoot at them, in any case.
