I've now got a nice IBM type M keyboard, courtisey of Jess's work. I wonder what they're getting rid of today that we can snag.

So far:
- Projector (worth approx two grand! -- 830 hours on the bulb, but rated life 1000, and they often last well over that.)
- IBM type M keyboard (feels wonderful, fully working!)
- Cable with strange connector needed to build a serial cable for projector, to enable widescreen mode.
- Differencial SCSI drive, fun to take apart and put back together, but we lack the hardware to use.
- I'm sure I'm forgetting something here.

I also fixed the shower today -- now the top end is actually up, so the shower-head fits in the shower-head-holder.

I've been working on a todo list program -- JToDo (J for James, not Java, of course). So far, it's only function is to sort the list when I'm indecisive -- it just makes me pick between two items at a time, instead of picking one item out of the list. I need to fix it to ask me less questions, though -- it currently tries to fully sort the list, instead of just pick out the best item.

Current list:

Write a post to finance-bank
Create a VCD
Work on EEPROM programmer
Work on cable for projector
Work on Finance-Bank-Norisbank
Play Super Mario World
Work on JToDo
Fix parallel ZIP.
IPv6
Dove: blacklist nm256 drivers from discover.
Dove: remove discover?
Dove: mplayer stop VESA monitor-off?
Dove: MTRR
Dove: monitor specs to not confuse projector
Projector: better VGA cable
Clean desk
Fix keyboard on lilith -- emacs complaints.
kernel -- IDE settings -> sysfs
ssh passwordless to {a,b,db}.perlmonks.org, lilith, dove
Suggest "warnock" to Jargon File
Find a linux-kernel newsgroup to subscribe to with thunderbird.

I got a del.icio.us account the other day, mostly to keep track of nifty stuff I found, not so much to actually use for bookmarks. Follow the link for nifty stuff.

Coolest thing I found today was http://randompixel.com/ -- some guy from LA (?) gives random people disposable cameras, with instructions on them to take a few pictures, then pass them on to someone else, and when they're full, mail them back. He then processes the pictures, adds comments, and puts a camera-full a week on the site. It's added to my friends list -- randompixel.
