They really should have just called it "Indiana Jones and the Stargate"- If Lucasfilm's involvement holds true to form, maybe the one after the next one will be really good?
- Actually, that's not entirely fair; once they got to South America it got pretty good.
- Still not a fan of Shia LaBeef, though.
- The action scenes were all lots of fun, especially the chase bit through the jungle.
- I really really like the central idea, of aliens as archaeologists collecting relics of human civilizations. I'm trying to think of other stories along the same lines, but am kind of drawing a blank. I know Calculating God touched briefly on the idea, but went in a different direction than this.
- Blanchett made for a good villian - evil and totalitarian, without being overblown. Pity she had to die the way she did.
