Christmas break was exactly what I needed. After a few of the shittiest weeks ever near the end of the semester, R and R was definitely in order. Now I'm just enjoying my newly single life :)
I'm sorry if there's anyone I didn't see, I tried to hang out with everybody before I left but sometimes, time doesn't permit. I'll be back before ya know it.
BUT...I am very happy to be back in Kalamazoo. Last night I came in at about 10:00 and then had an amazing night. Hung out with my friends Alex and Brendan and some other guys. Beer pong. Then hung out with Kristen and Amanda, two very cool girls, with more beer pong thrown in. After that I returned to my floor. This girl Nicole who lives down the hall from me invited me to go drink with her. Scandal and Jack Daniel's were to follow. Saw this rather large, extremely plastered black guy strip down to his tighty-whities on Smoker's Island. The last time I saw people scattering that quickly there was napalm shooting over our heads. Having finished all the alcohol my roommate and I stayed up until breakfast started. It was one of the greatest meals I've ever tasted.
This kind of thing just doesn't happen back home. I forget about the inherant beauty of the dorm's randomness.
Today I had no class, so I rolled out of bed at 5:00. At about 9:30 I ran into Katier in the lobby and realized it was Kara's birthday. Stole ourselves a "portable dance floor" from the hall. It was good fun.
