i told you example; i don't care about the stores you shop at. but what we see influences us no matter if we shop there or not; you come up with a term or phrase, but thats the way it is.

I probably shop at the same stores you do but that doesn't matter. The example you gave me was that I feel like I am too pale. I don't feel like I'm too pale because "stores" tell me to feel too pale. That's silly, stores can't even talk! I feel pale because pale skin isn't considered attractive. Who decides laws of human attractiveness? Humans do. Other people decide what looks good. i still don't know how stores can influence anything stores are just what people want to buy

I think I am seeing what Jaraldo is saying...the advertising/clothing projects a certain image of what people should be...sort of forcing that image upon you....could be wrong though.
