anime fandom has grown THIS much!!
I remember back in 2002, my only access to anime and manga was showing up at Ayacon for one day. Beside the internet I didnt get any more taster of anime/manga for another year until I got to go to another con!
My my how things have changed! Wev all know how much anime and manga has grown in popularity since then in shops and with all the cons and the big Expos twice a year! But the fandom has taken a new step upwards in the uk!!
Today in college we bumped into two college-level kids who were COSPLAYING just because they felt like doing it! apparently their tutor hated anime/manga so they decided to cosplay to annoy her! XD
But wow! Its got this popular now! Two kids who both come from the same little town I live in, who see Expo as just a normal thing they go to every year, are happy to just go into college as their fave anime/manga characters! awesome!! :D
