It's a bit toasty in here...
It’s been warm inside the house today, and even the fan cannot stave off the stickiness of sweat and skin.
I hate being idle. All my efforts to gain employment have been in vain. I’ve called several places several times in order to follow up on applications turned in weeks ago and I’ve received no feedback. I’m going to go and apply at a few more places this next week and see what turns up.
In the meantime, my recent foray into the arena of web design may offer me an opportunity to make some money. My good friend Ryan has told me that his church has expressed interest in redesigning their website, and that they were impressed by my FLOODweb design. Hopefully that will pan out soon.
We saw Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl last night. It was a good swashbuckling affair indeed. Johnny Depp is perfect in his portrayal of the whimsical pirate captain, and Keira Knightley is an extremely hot young lady (not to mention that she acted quite well too); my only complaint is that the love scenes between Orlando Bloom and Knightley were a bit cold feeling. Otherwise the movie is a gooder.
And I got my brakes fixed....
