Actually, the context of my thinking last night was, "Geez, if only I were a smarter person, I could somehow be a BETTER person. But geez, since some people are smarter then me, I envy them and hate them."

My problem most of the time is that I see knowledge as a means to build my SELF up, rather than as a means of bringing glory to God. I see knowledge improperly as an idol.
