See that icon? That's what I look like right now.
I don't know how to feel. It was brilliant in places, the pointless ways everyone died, the way they reacted, the manic crazy out of control Jim Keats (and the crow noises he started making, they were awesome).
I like the way they didn't actually explain anything at all.
All the music choices were pretty much pure joy. Oasis, Tropicana, Michael Jackson: how can anyone argue with that?
Shaaaaaaaaz. Chriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis. So so sweet. And Raaaaaaay. You might be my favourite, just for hanging onto the shotgun in the afterlife.
But. I don't know, stuff. Stuff was disappointing, or something. It just felt off. And as much as I like ambiguity (post-modern renaissance man that I am) where does this leave the season one reveal? That was an awesome reveal, and now I'm doubting it.
I also don't like how rushed Alex's departure was. It was a little wham, bam, I'm not damned. And I'm not sure if I wanted her to stay. I would have stayed, more for the same reasons Gene stayed then to be with Gene. There was still work to be done, examplified by the dude demanding his iPhone. But I love Alex. I love the little noises she made when Keats gave her Molly's scarf (which is the first thing that makes me think maybe Molly is dead, maybe there is something to the supertheory).
It was a little massively rushed? Holding out for the dvd extras.
No matter what I'm grumpy at, I'm never going to not love it. The acting was outstandingly excellent, it was beautifully shot and edited, carefully crafted and utterly original (apart from the bit where it's a spin off, shhh).
I will miss this show.
Also, Matt Damon is a pilot with a girl's name, and that's awesome; everyone loves Jeff Winger; Seeley Booth is a better man then you; god is an alcoholic, apathetic writer with relationship issues (which explains some things, doesn't it?). What else? Something about Lost and Fringe both being crazy. Have not watched them.
I'm stress baking.
Banana and raspberry blondies, milk and dark chocolate topping!
Jumbleberry and apple pie! My family got at it before I could find my camera.
