is it me, or are the streets just friendlier in melbourne? i don't mean the people (they have the same nice:douchebag ratio as sydney, i think), just the wideness and the lack of skyscrapers (compared to sydney) and the trees and trams, the tram lines like a cozy net, keeping us safe. (pretty sleep deprived right about now, could have been imagining it.) there are lots of things i like about melbourne but i'm in an expensive internet cafe so, next!
COMEDY FESTIVAL: Jack Druce (for free)
Adam Hills (he got me up on stage for most of the show and when i said beer sucked, he said he would find me a good beer, but all the bar had was melbourne bitter, so i shotgunned a can to be chivalrous. i nearly choked to death on the disgustingness.)
Elenor aka Rich Rulcher in unconvincing drag (i couldn't work out how much of the drunkeness was an act, but fucking funny)
Die Roten Punkte hosting a band night (HAUS PARTY) including dance lessons and games (I STACKED ON DAVID O'DOHERTY AND COULDN'T BREATH AND NEARLY DIED. IT WAS AWESOME.) and 23 second discoteques and a lapdance AND I FUCKING LOVE BEING IN THE FRONT ROW FOR EVERYTHING.
dammit i have thinkery thoughts for ashes to ashes and i haven't seen dr who yet but i have to get on a plane at 6am and host a zine making crafternoon at 1pm and right now it's 2am and i'm running out of internet and i need to take a nap BUT I'M HAVING A REALLY GOOD DAY HOW ARE YOU?
