2am is when i bare my fannish soul
I watch Top Gear. I have been for a couple of months, mostly, initially, by accident and now ravenously. Ever since small times, I use british comedy to get to sleep, (something about the accents and absurdism is very soothing) and the combination of dodgy insults and religious repetition of brake horse power, the showy editing and enlightened soundtrack, has been so utterly relaxing I now can't get to sleep without listening to three men bitch about speed cameras and mock each other's hair. It helps that I really rather like cars, and I actually have learnt how to enact a more perfect rally turn from this show, but still. It's a pretty fucked up lullaby. And of course, there's RPS, which I have resisted reading on the grounds that punditslash brought me out in a rash and I won't be having with that.
