[When the audio feed turns on, it's nearly silent, save for soft breathing and the ambient sounds of the outdoors. But finally, just when the silence seems to be stretching on too long, someone speaks, sounding rather dejected.]...I've been looking really hard for a way out of here, but... I can't find one. I doubt there's any way that we can find by wandering around. [ With a heavy sigh. ] Believe me, I've looked.

[ Squinting at the video, now. ] That is-- [ The feed cuts off. Alarmed, she tries to reply to the signal; a feature she's discovered mostly by accident. ] Hello? Are you still there? Strange contraption...

[ Relieved, and amused, all at once. ] Mm. The contraptions can be finicky, it is true.

Are you well? I saw the... person who was with you. [ A pause. ] Are they well in the head?

That 'person' isn't a person, it's a faerie!

[ That was a familiar word. Mostly. ] You have a... master, that's here? [ Because that's what it meant to her. ]

Master...?

Sensei's not my master, he's my sensei! There's a big difference!

[ Shaking her head. ] I'm afraid I don't know what difference you mean. Where I'm from, someone's sensei is their teacher or trainer. A master of an art or skill they seek to pass on to those who they find worthy to learn. Such as the folding of steel, or how to wield the finished blade.

[ It seemed... flowery, but it was something she had come to learn, during her residence amongst the denizens of Norg. ]
