my thoughts all covered in rain
like maybe I'll get washed away
maybe just waiting for some better day
like praying for rain did anything
I am the opposite
of all the things you want to say
just the discolored catastrophe
waiting for some distant dream

the distant disbelief
that no one believes
and so that rain becomes everything
my only voice
my only sense of anything
the only sound when all I want is
scream
yeah, so disconnected it begins to bleed
the only face is me
dripping wet with all I'll ever be
