I ran across this the other day but forgot to post about it then. Apparently Funimation has a branded
Youtube account where they stream full episodes for free. That is goddamn awesome. Predictably, dub only, but it's still a goddamn awesome idea. They're also the company that's migrating releases to 13 episode half season sets, which is incredible as well. Anime has needed to go directly to something like season box sets and skip individual DVD releases for a long time. Funimation is basically doing all the stuff
damienroc and I once conversed about that the anime industry needs to start doing. Is there any wonder they're the industry leader. I just hope the rest of the companies get the idea and follow suit.
