The Poem I spoke briefly of at the Senior Sendoff, I rele should have read it.
On this bus ride home
Watching the lines on the road
I realize this life goes more than 65
Right past us this time flies
One last time, we sing one final song
Knowing we cant hold on for long
We've come to the end of an era
But know that we'll last forever
And just know that
We will never run this race alone
Hold these memories, written in stone
Remember wherever you go
This is the best time we'll ever know
In this letter home
Filling these lines of this note
I write about life as it's passed my eyes
Waiting for just one more time
For one last time, we'll sing one final song
Knowing we can't hold on for long
We've come to the end of an era
But know we'll last forever
And through all the miles we go
And all the promises we broke
We are never on our own
As long as you know that
We will never run this race alone
Hold these memories written in stone
Remember wherever you go
This is the best time we'll ever know
