so today a cousin of mine was killed in a helicopter crash filming some boat race or something like that in Florida. I didn't know him terribly well but he was a few years older than me and a descent enough person. I did know him some though. Sad. I know his dad (my uncle David) is all messed up and my dad seems a bit hit by it too. I don't know

Our condolences to the family, Russ. If he was only a few years older than you, then he was probably younger than I am, and that's much too young to die. Special condolences to his father; there is nothing worse for a parent than losing a child, no matter what the age.
