Over the New Year's Holiday I went to New Orleans. I drove around the areas of Slidell, St Benard, The 9th Ward, Gentilly, MidTown, The CBD, Lakeview, Metairie, and Kenner. What I saw is undescribable ( Read more... )

yes... it is pretty much gutted... according to the markings nobody was found dead there though so that is good.

F & J still live in Slidell, and their house was the only one untouched in about a mile's radius. They actually had some sleazebag speculator tell them they needed to sell their house cheap now because it wasn't worth anything anymore since their neighborhood was demolished.
