Portfolios and pictures...
First, quick weekend update. Rocky was ok, audience wasn't great but at least there were a good few virgins. Fun impromptu party at Becky's on Friday night and then a soak in Liz's hottub. Sunday, picture-taking with Rachel and hanging out with her, Faye and SteveO. Good times. :)

Motivation...
Motivation is coming back, which is odd considering I feel like I've been on the rack getting stretched for the past three days. :P I've finally started working out again and got back in contact with my old krav maga trainer. I'm going to be starting that up again in a couple of weeks. Very excited. Haven't done any close-combat training in YEARS ( Read more... ) -
This is all getting a bit ridiculous...
So it happened AGAIN today while I was just about to leave for work. A lot of rattling around in my ceiling and chirping. So I decided I didn't want to leave while what I assumed to be a sparrow was stuck up in the extraction pipe, but on the other hand I didn't want to be late. Got back from Rocky a little earlier than usual, then proceeded to chat online with folks until 6am. Passed out a little while after that and woke up an hour and a half later to a very odd noise coming from my ceiling. Sounded like a rattling/scratching/some crazy critter in the pipes. Just my luck *grumble*
Well, was finally able to get up and get a shower this afternoon after three days of cough, fever, congestion, retching and diarrhea. This is the sickest I've been in probably four years. Started on Monday morning which I thought was just a bad cough, but by Monday at midnight it had turned into full-blown flu. *sigh* Only two weeks after I had ( Read more... ) -
Sadness and pictures...
First, the bad news: RIP to Roy Schieder. Thank you for 'The French Connection', 'Jaws', 'SeaQuest' and your cameo role in 'The Rainmaker.' :(
