Saturday can't come fast enough!
I am super excited about Saturday's game against the Horns. I think it'll be a great game because we have alot of things going for us.
1) Tech is a completely different team at home than away (we average 70 pts at home and like 23 away)
2) Derrick Johnson (UT's star linebacker) is injured
3) Vince Young (UT's star QB) is injured
4) UT can't pass whatsoever
5) Mack Brown and Davis are coaches for UT
6) The team is out for blood from last year's loss by a FIELD GOAL. and a missed one nonetheless.
7) Last year, we had the WORST defense in the nation (#117), they beat us by a field goal. This year, we have the #39 defense. What will be the score?
8) Their secondary was horrible against Mizzou. Tech will pick it up
9) They plan on playing man coverage (TCU and nebraska had the same strategy!)
10) They played Mizzou last saturday. Mizzou is, offensively speaking, completely different from Tech. UT had to prepare for the run this week, then the next week prepare for the best passing offense in the nation. Furthermore, we had a bye this weekend (we didn't play anyone). So we've had 2 weeks to study the following offensive playbook: Benson to the left, Benson to the right, Benson up the middle, and Vince Young Scramble (oh i forgot, Young is hurt!)
If we do win, somebody's gonna have to bail Julio out of jail because I will steal that cow they call Bevo and ride her down University Drive. Furthermore, I will be swinging from left to right on the goal posts.
