reality check, from a great friend:
"hes a lucky boy," said this friend.
"why do you say that?" i asked.
"because love is supposed to be happy, and nice, and not angry, and you're giving him another chance. love is when you trust someone that you actually care about. and don't worry about other girls around him,because you know hes all telling them that your that girl he wants everyone to know about, " he replied.
i was speechless.
"ashley you deserve much better, that's all i'm going to say. you deserve someone better,who will act like he was when he used to be nice. and not act like a jerk to you in front of his friends. a boy who will not change his style when his friends show up.hat boy who will hold your hand even if his friends make fun of him. boyfriends are supposed to be 'that boy'. that boy that won't decieve you with lies,and then say it was alright, and it was your fault anyways. that boy who will come see you no matter what it takes,the boy who after a fight ends up showing up outside your window with flowers. just a boy who really cares. Boys like him are a dime a dozen. i know what it's like to let go. we only want to remember what it used to be like, because our minds always resort to the better, and blind us from whats right before our eyes."
