#7- Callie/Mark
“I'm hungry,” Callie announced.
Mark started laughing hysterically at that idea.
“It's not funny,” she reached out to hit him, only to miss and end up in a fit of laughter too.
“This was the best idea,” Mark replied, while taking another puff of a joint. Normally, he would not condone smoking of any kind, but he was curious. It was also a once in a lifetime opportunity. Sloan had visited the
weekend before and he caught her with it, so he took it. Little did Mark know, Callie had smoked a few back in college.
“I told you it was fine,” Callie smoked her own joint. “All we have to do is stay put and not make anything seem suspicious.”
“Do you think Arizona would get mad if she caught us over here?”
“No,” Callie assured him. “I think we had this conversation once. Meredith Grey and her little friends and McDreamy live in a frat house. We live in the off campus apartment where burnouts go to buy pot.”
“Or steal it from our children,” Mark laughed. That made Callie laugh even harder until her stomach growled.
“I need food,” she whined. “What do you have? You couch feels so nice and sparkly that I think it will get mad if I leave.”
Mark got up and looked in his
fridge and freezer. He pulled out a DiGiorno pizza. “I'm going to bake this pizza for us.”
Callie got excited and ran into the kitchen with Mark and pulled the box out of his hands.
“I
love this!” She started tearing open the box. As Callie opened the pizza box, she accidentally had it fall on the floor, along with something else packaged inside.
“We can still eat this,” Callie insisted. Mark picked the pizza up off the floor while Callie decided it was a good idea to lick the floor where cheese had fallen.
“I wonder what this other thing is,” Mark inspected the silver package, before opening it. He got excited by the contents.
“Hey Cal! There is cookie dough here. We can bake cookies with our pizza.”
“Yay!” she jumped up off the floor and went digging through Mark's cabinets for a tray. Soon, they had the pizza and cookies baking in the oven. Callie and Mark went back into the living room.
Callie was laying across the couch smoking her third joint of the evening. Mark was only on his second. He couldn't stop thinking about the cookies. The pizza would be good too, but he almost didn't want to share the cookies with Callie. He had to think of a way to get her to eat the pizza and be okay with getting no cookies.
“Are you sure you want the cookies, Callie?”
“Why wouldn't I?”
“It was just a thought,” he was disappointed.
Fortunately, for Mark, Callie was so stoned by the time the food was ready that she grabbed a fourth of the pizza and ran into Mark's room with it. She lay in his bed eating it, where she eventually fell asleep. Mark took all the cookies and put most of them into a Tupperware container and hid them in the back of a cabinet so Callie could not find them. Then he took the rest and his phone into the bathroom. He ate one and then decided to get into the shower.
The hot water felt great to Mark. He let it run down his naked body. He ate two more cookies and it was the greatest feeling Mark had ever experienced.
“This might be better than sex,” he thought. He started laughing again and decided to send a text message to Callie. He stepped out of the shower for a moment and got back in.
“Rude!” Callie yelled as she entered the bathroom.
“What did I do?” he asked.
“First, you didn't share your cookies with me. And second, when I send you a text message after you sent me one, you are supposed to respond.”
“Well, what does it say?” Mark prompted Callie to read it to him.
“I asked you about eating cookies in the shower. That's just weird. You'll ruin them by getting soggy.”
“Here, this is for you,” Mark threw one of the cookies over the shower door to Callie. She was satisfied, despite not getting a real answer to her text message. She ate the cookie and ran.
#24 Callie/Izzie
“It's too early to get up,” Izzie thought to herself. Could she remember what happened the night before? She remembered getting drunk with George the night before, and that was all. She bet he didn't remember and was at home in his own bed. Izzie figured she could text him later when she felt like getting up.
Soon, there were some footsteps in the room. Whoever it was did not want to be heard because they were tiptoeing through the room.
“Go away, Alex,” Izzie groaned as she rolled over and discovered George was still next to her and sleeping. Now she was really afraid of what happened the night before. And then reality sunk in. The rude person to come in the room opened the shades and the sun shined in, making the room very bright. Izzie sat up to discover she was not in her own bed. And there was a very tall, black haired lady staring at her and not looking pleased.
“Who are you?” Izzie asked the woman.”
“You don't know?” she looked even more disgusted. She sat down in a chair that faced the bed.
“Are you George's sister or another relative?” Izzie asked.
“I guess you could say I'm a relative,” the woman said with a smirk on her face. “I'm George's wife. Callie,” she said, offering her hand out.
Izzie tried to hide under the covers. Leave it to her for something like this to happen. Why didn't George tell her he was married? And especially to some voluptuous woman like Callie.
“It's okay,” Callie grinned. “I slept in the guest room, as to not bother you two.”
“Are you two fighting?” Izzie tried to play dumb.
“Now we are. But don't wake up George yet. He should really be let in on this surprise on his own.”
“Maybe I should leave,” Izzie said, realizing it would be difficult since she didn't know where her clothes her.
“Don't be silly. I can make you some breakfast or coffee,” Callie offered.
“I think I'll be fine,” Izzie insisted, as she sent a text message to Meredith and Cristina. “Where are my clothes, she embarrassingly asked. Izzie hoped Callie maybe spotted them on the floor.
“They are in the dryer right now,” Callie told her. “I figured since they were flung all over the house last night, that they needed to be washed. They'll be done in about an hour.”
And this morning was just getting better.
“Look, I don't need my clothes back.” Izzie wrapped George's blanket around her body and walked outside to go home. Cristina never let her hear the end of the text message she sent out.
#52 Callie/Arizona
It had been a crazy night. What was supposed to be a tame birthday party for Callie, got out of hand. Everyone, except her, got drunk. She was a little upset that alcohol was brought to her party, when she was pregnant, but she let it slide. It was sort of funny seeing her girlfriend and friends acting completely foolish.
Now, she and Arizona were on their way to a bed and breakfast for the weekend. It was Callie's way of thanking Arizona for helping her and being there for her during this pregnancy. However, Arizona was quiet with her at the moment. Callie thought she was mad at her.
“Did I do something wrong?” Callie asked Arizona.
“No. I'm just a little upset that you let me get drunk and didn't try anything with me afterward.”
“You passed out on our bed when we got home. What was I supposed to do?”
“You could have woken me up. Or maybe feeling you against my body would have done the trick.”
Callie blushed a little. “I'm sorry. I didn't want to bother you. You looked so cute hogging our bed. Then I had to go harass Mark to give me back my cell phone. He stole it from me and wouldn't give it back.”
“Oh, so did he give it back?” Arizona asked.
“Yeah. This morning. I had to beat him with a pillow until he would get up. Serves him right for stealing the phone of a hormonal pregnant woman and keeping it all night.”
“So, you never read your text messages from that time until this morning?”
“I still haven't checked them because I didn't want to be rude to you,” Callie replied.
Arizona frowned, but also smirked. “That's a shame. I think there is one that you would want to read. Just saying.”
Callie gave Arizona a funny look. She went into her text message box on her phone and checked it out. There were a bunch of drunk texts from Mark, one from Cristina, and one from Arizona that made her suddenly blush.
“Pull over,” she ordered Arizona.
Arizona did as she was told.
“This is the best birthday present ever,” Callie pulled Arizona in for a kiss.
“Calliope, we can't do that here. People will see us.”
“No. We have to. You said I could redeem it anytime and anywhere. I'm horny, so I want it now.” Callie got out of her seat and got in the back.
How could Arizona argue with that? So what if they were a few hours late for their reservation?
