twas a good day
Today was the first of three...well...unexpected days off. I woke up around noon(needed the sleep), then after my brain came online I worked out for 2 hours or so. Spent the rest of the afternoon/early evening playing the part of couch potato. But then this evening I went to see the Village, very good movie.....makes one stop and think. I have often wished I had someplace like that to escape to for a time. After the movie I was introduced to Red Robin.....good food, good movie.
Why is it that society has become all about the individual, and has completely retreated from a community mindset. I mean....how many people out there don't even know the name of the person living next door. Why are so many unwilling to help out someone else..... even something simple like holding a door open for someone. Sigh......
