as a bug in a rug
So long it has been since I last was able to attend a musical! Not since "The Producers" on Broadway during the summer of '03 have a felt such exhilaration. "Bye Bye Birdie" at the Dearborn Players Guild provided for an absolutely wonderful evening...matched only by the company of the divine Ms. Andrea. To long it has been since I last had the pleasure of an early morning hour creeping up as the night passed by unnoticed because I was with the best of company.
Andrea's Father is a member of the cast and following his entertaining performance I had the pleasure of meeting him. As it would happen he is a bit of a railroad buff, though he does prefer diesels.....however, I shall not hold that against him ;-)
All told my spirit was recharged, worries of life distracted from and now I have only to look forward towards the next time I shall have such fun.
