Recap

It's been a while since I typed up one of my essay-long entries... so here goes!!

Last night I decided to go with the gays and head to Beaver-Vu lanes to bowl. About 10 of us showed up, which is a great number. Not too small, not too big. We put 4 people that only wanted to bowl one game on one lane and had 6 people, split into groups of 3 on two lanes, that wanted to bowl 3 games. It worked out really well.

Soooo, there was a $10 gift cerficate to be awarded to the person who came in first place with the highest score of the night. I was pretty damn sure I'd get it, and anyone that has played with me (*cough* Cory *cough*) knows, I always win. Sooooo, I found this incredible ball that fit my fingers very well and the way it's drilled is meant to hve curve. Puurrrrrfect. I also picked up a 15lb ball with a wider hole spacing for a more direct approach as my spare ball.

Sooooo, Lish, Shaila, and myself were the obvious front-runners in the bunch after the first few frames. I had one strike, and Lish and Shailia had two spares each. Emily, from the one-game group, was only behind me by 10 pins, but she was mostly having fun and not really trying to do her best. She and her group made me laugh so many times.

Wellll, I hadn't bowled in a few months and I'm pretty out of shape from any physical activity at all, so after the first game my arm was already tired and my left thigh was pinching up. Buuut, it's all good. Shailia got a 104, Lish got a 120-something, and I got a 132.

*beams*

Soooo, we start the next game while the other group is leisurely finishing up theirs. Lish starts off with a strike-spare-strike, and I'm thinking I really need to step it up now. o.o

Shaila gets a strike on a spare, and I'm left with like... two spares. Sooo, ummm... I get some more strikes while they leave some open pins, and catch up. Hehe. Then the distraction comes in the form of pizza. Lish bought three pizzas for the group: pepperonia, cheese, and... CHEESE WITHOUT SAUCE!!! =^^=

I totally thanked Lish, who remember that I'm not allowed to have tomatoes, and then she said "No prob... you should come over tonight after bowling!" and I did.

Second game finished with me getting 135, Shailia got 110-something, Lish got 120-something again. Sooooo, the three of us decided we'd bowl left-handed for the last game. I got an 80-something, Lish got a 70-something, and Shaila got a 69. Yes, I remember the 69. >_>

Sooooo, I got back with Lish and Deb (who also bowled left handed, and got like... a 40?) into their car and proceeded to go to their house where I met... Ian. Ian happens to be one of the most adorable cats I'd ever met. He was the runt of the litter (isn't that always the way, Damian?) and wasn't weened properly, so he'd bound over into my lap, climb up my arm onto my shoulder and suck on my ear. If it didn't sound so weird, I'd probabyl have let him continue, but I put my hand in the way, and he just sucked on each of my finger tips. Ian's an orange long-haired tabby with the most attractive brownish-green eyes.

*sighs happily*

Soooo, we played Harry Potter Scene-It while Ian climbed all over me, chewed on my hair, my shoelaces, attempted to crwl in between my shirt and sweater, and all kinds of cute things. He clearly liked me, and I liked him. :3

Annnnnnnd, then I went back home at some ungodly hour, with Ian mewling in the window wanting me to come back. I'm making a promise to go back all the time now. *nodnod*
