I just ran across this, and had to post, 'cause I was trying to remember this quote the other day and I couldn't! Pure hilarity!
Marge: Homer, when are you going to give up this crazy sugar scheme?
Homer: Never, Marge. Never. I can't live the button-down life like you. I want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles. Sure, I might offend a few of the bluenoses with my cocky stride and musky odors - oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "City Fathers" who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about "What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?"
Damn, I'm tired... why am I still up? Listening to the Mountain Goats and looking for obscure Simpsons quotes... yeah, that's a good idea, especially when I have to get up early in the morning! I've been thinking about The Decembrists recently, and I wish I knew where that CD was, 'cause I'd like to listen to it... they come off as a little too precious at times, but there are songs on that album that I really like... well, anyway....
