HELP ME. I CAN'T SLEEP.
This wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't been ill for the past week; coughing, sneezing, headaches (although they're mostly gone now) and, to top it off, gone practically deaf in my left ear because of it all. I can't sleep without coughing violently every few seconds, and got woken up from what looked like a promising stretch of relaxation a couple of nights ago by appallingly bad earache which would not go away despite painkillers (which caused the partial deafness).
I really, really hope I'm getting better, and I don't have an ear infection, but oh God I can't sleep. It's two in the morning, I'm sat at my desk in my dressing gown (I do rather miss being able to go on the internet in bed, it has to be said) - my chest is aching and I've run out of cough sweets. And my left ear is...well, permanently buzzing. Sort of. It's hard to describe.
ARGH. I'll end up like Edward Norton and meet someone who I start to revere who turns out to be my wilder, more impulsive self walking around campus feeding the wild rabbits battery acid, or something. Yes, we have wild rabbits on campus. They frequently brighten up my day.
I should really try and sleep; I've got a seminar at nine tomorrow. Argh. And I should ideally take some paracetamol; I'm terrible at swallowing it so I was reccommended some dissolvable ones, and I'm STILL too nervous to take them.
God, this post is fucking boring. And sleep-deprived.
Anyway, before I go, here lies a list of people set to feature on Buzzcocks over the next few weeks.
Martin Freeman
Simon Bird
Gareth Malone
Andy Serkis
Charlie Brooker
Tim Minchin
Jamie Cullum
Catherine Tate
Bernard Cribbins
David Tennant
AHHHHH. TOO MUCH BRILLIANCE TO HANDLE!
I do wish, though, that Cullum and Minchin were appearing on the same show, as I've already listened to this about twenty times:

Right. I should at least try and sleep. Urgh, painkillers. I haven't kissed Cathy for a week because I don't want to give her anything. This sorry case needs to be rectified, and fast.
Farewell.
