I'm not a Christian, but the idea of Lent has always appealed to me as a way of strengthening my self-control. Hasn't ever worked, but that's usually due to my rubbish memory rather than self-reliance.
Or perhaps both.
Anyway, fandom isn't a bad habit at all, but I may dip out of it for a while; I felt as if I was delving too deep over the past few weeks, and Torchwood itself is in sleep mode at the moment, so I may not browse for a little while and spend the time doing something else.
So, no fic-reading, no spoiler-checking, no visiting Torchwood-related things for a while. I've even cleared my web history to start afresh. I'll still be looking at individual journals, though. I'm just having a fandom break.
Stupid idea? Possibly. Hopefully I'll come back and there'll be an airdate.
