Wherein I am far too obsessed with Torchwood.
Points of miscellany:
- No school again today! Circumstances completely negated my cynical judgement and we had two days off in a row. The snowfall was ridiculously heavy from early this morning, and I nearly sank in the snow whilst I was scaling numerous hills earlier. I've lived here my entire life and I've never seen it this thick! Spent the day like yesterday; serial sledging and generally acting about half my age. God, it was fun.
Having said that, I'd quite like to get back to school. Just to get back into the usual routine of things. Plus, it's my friend Aoife's birthday on Monday, and I'd hate to miss it.
- I've already watched the Torchwood trailer an obscene amount of times, and have gone from general excitement about series three to pretty much yearning for series three, however sad it sounds. I really hope the June/July rumours aren't true. Asides from the fact I'm going away for the last bit of June and most of July, it's going to be incredibly difficult waiting that long.
(Although, I have a lot on in the interrim to make up for it. Like leaving school. My mind still can't even fathom it happening for real, so far.)
- Speaking of transitions, I'm still waiting on Durham University. Gagh. I've had offers from my other four, but Durham are notoriously slow at replying. I wouldn't (particularly) care if they rejected me, as long as I knew soon. I'm impatient at the best of times; when it comes to something like this I'm insufferable. I'm becoming well-known amongst my friends as being the one who checks the UCAS website the most.
- I'm definitely asking for the Green Wing soundtrack for my birthday. I don't think I've ever found music that suits me so much.
- This is coming from nowhere solid other than rumour and morbid speculation, but if Ianto dies in series three, I will be...gagh. More upset than I should be.
- I've only just noticed that Eve Myles is very much predominant in my userpics. (I've revamped since the series three trailer.) Not that this needs rectifying in the least...
- Come on, BBC. Schedule Torchwood to start on March 23rd. It's a Monday. It's close enough for us all not to go mad. And...no, there's nothing else at all special about that date. Why do you ask?
- Right, getting pins and needles. Must go and psyche myself up for fighting through the snow early tomorrow morning to get to work. Lovely.
