Vaccinated, work probably keeping most people as work from home forever, adjusting.
April-July: I burned myself out hard, then realized it. About the same time recognized a lot of my experiences in folks talking about ADHD, and realized part of my problem was the work/life balance no longer having a physical boundary had broken a few of my coping mechanisms. So started into medication on that front, helped balance things out.
August-January: Learned that people normally have persistent anxiety about uncompleted tasks instead of frustration when reminded they exist, and I had a sizable backlog of organization and clean-up work to do from the past decade between the feet going bad and burnout. Eventually completed enough to relax again. Or so I thought.
Jan-April: Balance came apart again and then realized it again a month ago. Changed some meds and watching things more.
May: I forget, did I mention that I randomly developed tinnitus this past year? Well, it comes and goes. At it's worst it damn near drives me mad and affects sleep and mood and ability to enjoy things comfortably. It was good for a long stretch, but the past few weeks it has been persistently on, and I hate it so much.
Had conversation today where LiveJournal came up, realized I hadn't signed on yet from the new computer. Wait, did I even mention I finally built a new computer after.. oh a decade or so? Old still ran most things fine, and met core/mhz/ram/gpu requirements or everything, but stuff was starting to ask for instruction sets it didn't support. Managed to snag the new AMD after a month of trying (retail only, just say no to scalpers!) and get a build together. Also marks the first non-Intel CPU I've used since the IBM PS/2. Still using the old GPU though, new ones are impossible to purchase at a reasonable price right now.
Anyway, that's another rambling update for you.
