WOO'S SEUSSES.
Woo is a big, big Dr. Seuss fan.
She will gladly read One Fish, Two Fish, and has flipped curiously through some of the Horton tales, but her favorite Seuss is...
Green Eggs and Ham!
She loves it.
Several times a day, Woo will come up to one of us and bonk us in the head or shin or arm &c. We will say "OW" and look down, and there will be Woo, with the light of book-mania in her eyes, clutching Green Eggs and Ham.
Usually I am the one she finds, because let's face it: toddlers are impatient people and I read very, very fast. I can read Green Eggs and Ham in about five minutes. Without tripping over my tongue. (Knew those acting lessons would come in handy someday!)
Other favorites are a picture book about boats, a short stout book of nursery rhymes, some count-down books with 3-D critters that my sister gave her, and the usual boxed set of Sandra Boynton.
But right now, she would, she could, on the couch. She could, she would, when a grouch. She likes to read it here and there. She likes to read it anywhere.
