The daily grind
I hated the commute at my last job. forty minutes each way. It was boring and in many ways dangerous, as I had to make a lot of left turns though/into heavy traffic. This also put about 30 miles on my car each day.
It takes me 30 minutes to walk to my lab. It if full of greenness. The ugliest part of the walk is a giant shopping center. But that allows me to pick up almost anything and everything I need on my way home. I am starting to look forward to this commute.
