Odd Bird Fall Jewellery Part #1

Oct 16, 2011 21:46

Realized that it's been a while since I posted pics of my latest jewellery creations here.
I've been posting updates on the both the website and FB page but incase you don't visit either, you can see the highlights here:

This Fall I have had a lot of creative fun with brass bits, both old and new...

I also incorporated pieces of genuine quartz into many designs.

I experimented with putting bird feathers into glass orbs.

Ah lockets...a staple for each season!

Remember the posting a while back about purchasing a whole pile of vintage overstock parts and chains?

All them pieces turned into deco inspired dangly earrings & necklaces!

Another theme for Fall has involved the world of shapes:

Chevrons....
and Triangles.
The triangles took a fun turn since the basic shape on it's own is well, not very exciting.

Until it's added in rows on a chain and then it becomes a fantastic necklace!
But I didn't leave it at the necklaces...

The earrings turned out well too!
(not bad for someone who slept through Geometry class in grade school, ha ha!)
But wait, there's more to be continued in another posting....
