Wou, my thighs are on fire! Im digging the new routine. The instructor is very cool and its not overflowing with toothpicks (aka whiny size zeros who have nothing better to do), thank God. Man, I'm stinky. I don't know whats up with my pits lately. I get these smells...okay lets just leave it at that :$.
So far I've been having a fairly good time. Good good shit on Monday, as expected. I'm trying to keep it a secret so I wont say much.
Wednesday went on this retreat thingy I go every year. Kind of dull, actually. I was expecting it to be different from last year's. Honestly, we talked about the same stuff and had no mass at all =\. Oh well, I didnt do much to make it any different so I won't bitch. Came back and went to SOMA for the Alexisonfire show. It was cool, George put the mic in my face haha. Dallas Green has a beautiful, beautiful voice. Very aproachable, as well.
Friday I was supposed to go to the Unearth/Terror/Black Dhalia Murder/Remembering Never show @ the Epicenter but everyone flaked out at the last minute. So Jovis and I hopped over to this local show & met w/ a couple of friends. The bands sucked so we left and went to Chez for some drinks. I just found out I can drink vodka, which is cool. I had like three vodka tonics =\. Got more broke than drunk, man. Drinking is expeeeensive these days.
Saturday we were supposed to take J out to a strip club cuz of his recent "breakup". But of course, everyone flaked out AGAIN at the last minute. Jovis got all sick =(, Gus wanted to go buy some shit in San Diego and the list goes on... So I was basically left with not much to do. I could either
A) Call Olga, Anah or one of those girls and see what was up.
B) Go to the gym and stay home
C) Go watch Shark Tale with my brother
I was leaning towards Shark Tale when I remembered Gaby was in SD. Haha. I decided to take the trolley downtown. The line to cross was like an hour and a tad. Plus, I like the trolley. I can wear my headphones and watch the sceneries pass me by.
Got dropped off @ the Palm Ave trolley station and got off downtown. Its nice downtown, fun to walk around. Definitely needed some time to myself. I keep forgeting how much fun it is to be by myself. Went into Borders, bought the new Shopaholic book :$. Then Urban Outfitters. I found the coolest turquoise angora sweater on sale for 25$. Of course the medium was too small and the large was too, well, large. Ugh. Walked over to LA Rack and saw the most gorgeous sweater. I absolutely fell in love, its got all these stripes and colors and ahh...so pretty. I didnt even check the price and when I got to the register, friggin 13$. Very very cool.
So I called Gaby, she picked me up and we went home. After a tad, we went to Tower Records and saw my Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey CD for 9$ ARrggghghhghgh... Didnt get anything. Went over to In n Out and Oh Mah Gahsh they had this thing called a Protein Burger without, yes, you guessed it, bread! Man, that made my night. Then went over to Henry's and got some Atkins friendly ice cream and bars.
Went back home and Marcia wanted to go out but we were all just too tired, apparently. So I just acompanied her to Krispy Kreme =( Oh man, that was painful. The smell, the glaze, the mushinesss ohh the mushiness.
Sunday, Gab dropped me off downtown. I wanted some more time around so I went over to Horton Plaza. Walked into Nordstrom, tried on some perfumes. I bought Burberry's Brit. I'm really liking the smell. I dont know much but I guess its appropriate for winter.
Few hours later, came back home and chilled. Went to church, then dinner with my parents. Oh my word, that place was the best. I had NEVER, EVER tasted steak THAT good. I swear to heavens, that was the greatest piece of meat in the city. Wow. That was probably the greatest thing about having dinner with my parents =\. Its just so akward and silent. Not very fun. But I'd do that for ten hours every day for the rest of my life if I could eat that steak. Or not.
Going to Six Flags on Friday with some buds, weeee! Seeing the Misfits on Saturday, weeeee!
