These last two weeks have been kind of crazy.
I went to Motown with Kesler, Justin, Andy, Tommy and Caleb two weeks ago. It was so, SO fun! We had such a blast dancing and laughing the night away. I missed those kids.
Buskerfest was alright. It was Emma's birthday too so we went to The Collins early for dinner and then just ended up staying there splitting pitchers all night. Matt Phillips and a couple of other guys I went to highschool with showed up and it actually turned out to be a good night.
Julie and Amie's fantasia party for the JA girls was hilarious! It was totally different than what I expected. But everyone ended up buying sex toys and stuff so it was really fun :) //I got a vibrator! Never had one before. Oh, and nipple cream that tastes really good and apparently makes your nipples tingle and go hard. HAHA!
Other than that I've just been working and hanging out with the girls (mainly Emma and Kesler, but Caitlin and Katrina too).
Oh! & I had my graduation last Thursday. It actually went really well and I'm glad I ended up going. My mom and sister came and obviously dorky pictures with me in a huge potato sack robe were taken :P
Weirdly enough though, I came home from graduation to an email from Habitat For Humanity Canada (where I did my internship last year), telling me about this new position they're hiring for and wanting to know if I'd like to apply. I looked over the job description and it's basically the exact same stuff I did for them during my internship. It's a really amazing opportunity though and it'd be the start of my career, for sure.
The job's in Toronto and the salary's over 30K a year. The official title is "Marketing and Communications Coordinator for HFHC". I'm pretty stoked about it! I mean, I don't know what my chances are of actually getting it, but either way, the fact that they even thought of me for it is incredibly flattering.
Regardless of whether or not I get the job though, the idea of starting my career like that has definitely motivated me to get my shit together and apply for jobs in the field.
