In Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Brent always corrects me when I leave a word out) I'm a singer in the ensemble.
Which is great and all, but I would have loved to get something not so... with-everyone-else. And I was jealous of Erin until Sarah pointed out that she's one of eleven brothers. Besides, I don't mind singing in the ensemble. It could have been worse, I mean, I might have been cut, right? Besides, there's always next time.
I'm starting a My Little Pony collection, and while that seems juvenille, I'm only connecting to my (still somewhat recent) childhood. I used to watch the My Little Pony episdoes that my dad tape recorded over and over and over. That and my Barney episodes. But I'm not reconnecting to some crazy purple dinosaur who everyone knew would someday pull a Michael Jackson. When someone told me that the guy who plays Barney is a child molestor, it was no big news to me. I doubt it was big news to anyone who ever watched or heard of Barney. That's just the type of thing an innocent purple dinosaur would do, right?
Anyways, during the week or this upcoming Saturday I'm going to try to get some of my friends to go ice-skating with me. I think I suck at ice-skating. The last memory I have of that zany little place near Vallco is from kindergarten. Seeing the pretty skater girls do triple-axels and other fancy tricks with names I can't spell, I attempted to jump into the air. The other part of the memory is me falling flat on my butt. Some older man who I wanted to kill began laughing. He had a terrible jacket. And that's all.
It's going to be funnnnnnn. To theeeee max.
MAX! ACK! I NEED TO CALL HIM AND ASK HIM WHEN HE WANTS TO GO TO GOFLAND!
Sorry Max!
