when i look at the television, i wanna see me
So, today, a lot of the advice i've received this summer and this early fall kind of hit me all at once. Basically, i've concluded that i need to get the hell out of oak park for a bit. i am suddenly struck by how much i want to meet people outside of my high school. i want things that get me to groups of people my age around the chicagoland area. just to meet people that i can't meet by sitting on my ass. so, any ideas about activities that would get me into the city or just outta my hometown?
on a related note: one of my sunday soccer games was just cancelled, so i'm thinking maybe i can make a weekend trip up to the mitten. who's going to be around the weekend of the 24 and 25? I guess that's next weekend, eh?
