When Tuesday seems like Monday

I was off yesterday, since my birthday was Sunday, and I come in this morning to a couple phone messages from a installation coordinator. They said they assume that I have a couple computers that are needed for an install on Thursday. So, I respond to an email that covers the entire group of people who have been working on this simple installation of two computers, which included the "customer", that I have not seen these computers and they are not in my posession. This customer is an employee in the company, who has been asked several questions about "where is the hardware for this install?" This entire process has been a disaster. It started with a few emails saying you are installing some computers at this location, and where are the other two monitors? I hadn't even heard of the install, let alone what was involved in it. Not only that, but since the new company took over, I have not been involved in any hardware installs that were offical, yet all the sudden I am supposed to know exactly how to do this install without any information. I responded several times that I don't understand what is going on, and that someone needs to clarify. I eventually got an explanation, but now I am wrong for replying to the customer that I don't know where her computers are, and that I haven't seen them. WTF? I blame the manager responsible for new hardware installs. She's totally dropped the ball on this thing, assuming I know what is going on and not taking the time to actually walk me through the process. Back when the companies first got together, she trained us on the DB applications we would use, yet she had no clue how to use them. So we have had to essentially train ourselves, or ask the actual staff how to use it. Management is awesome.

Not only do I have to deal with this, but I have a golf ball sized infection around one of my teeth. I need a root canal. Thankfully one of the docs here in the office gave me a script for some antibiotics. I hope they work well. I won't be able to get the root canal done until next week. There goes $600. And another $600 for a crown down the road. The dentist sucks.

I was down to 248.5 last week on Thursday, but I wanted to wait until Monday to post. I had a few drinks, and a lot of bad food this weekend and came in at 250 this morning. Could have been worse. This diet really works well. It is boring, but I figure if I can keep up with it until July, then implement the changes I see in my normal diet by following some of the rules I am currently using, I won't balloon back up to my current weight.
