I had seen that you were in the hospital, but I figured that you might not want unsolicited spammyness from me, and they said you were all right(yay for a lurky Kitty) so... but it's good to have you back! :D

We've been a bit sick as well around here. Especially Kupo. Poor thing has been running a fever on and off for aaaaaages, but I think he (finally!!!!) is good enough for daycare Monday, so all is well in Kittyland as well. :)

Awww, yeah I'm okay. I actually had the vaxx so it really wasn't that bad a flu, but lithium = srs bsnss so :(

Then they realised I hadn't been lying about my food intake for the past six months and all freaked out about my weight and I had a tonne of tests and they changed all my meds around, which didn't make the flu feel any better. Bastards.

O hai btw, I just now lurked on your convo with eviinsanemonkey and just want to add that if aviv_b brought any -isms to the table this time around I completely missed them and would fail (but I've failed that way before, so minor disclaimer here that it could happen). In fact, I kinda enjoyed that wank because it was so... simple and solely about fandom entitlement, which (to me) was a nice change. It seems like lately it's been one awful -ism after another and... yeah.

Am sorely disappointed at all of the other fuckheads coming out of the woodwork to call any author who doesn't respond to each single review ~arrogant douches~ or what-have-you, though. Blargh. They can feel free to stay the fuck away from my stuff, that's for sure.

Also, 2011 has been very WTF!???!?? in general, but at least they're doing something right in Egypt, so there's that.

That's exactly how I feel! It's all so nice and stress-free... Plus I feel qualified to voice an opinion on fandom entitlement, which I soooo don't on various -isms.

There was this glorious time at sf_d (it lasted about 2 weeks, tbh) where the people there were socially aware but the posts were random funny shit and not an unending roll of "look at this bigot!" I kind of want ffr to get to that point and then stay there.

Tbh, sometimes I go looking for dramalicious crap (those are the only times I really read sf_d, actually, unless I'm really bored) but I never have anything to say and, sure, I have actually learned a lot these last couple of years about privilege, -isms, and Ways Assholes Will Derail An Argument, but... it's just getting to be too much.

I kind of liked the random sf_d post about shampoo that was posted shortly before the one about the tragic shooting. Random hair anecdata ftw.
