Click to viewdan and i went to school today. i got some constructive criticism from noestheden. i felt pretty bad about it. he said a lot of what i've made is only good enough for the sketchbook portion of the portfolio. so basically all of it is not good enough for the actual thing. i have no idea what i'm going to do now. he said that i should paint "like a hundred" whales on tiny cardboard pallets and submit it as a mural piece. it's a good idea. i'm going to start this tomorrow, i guess. i missed like twenty minutes of Across the Universe because of that little meeting. i liked the imagery and how each character was named after a song. i like the inscription scene the best, i think. the scene with the blue meanies came in second, but it seemed really messy and chaotic, although that was probably the point. i'd be neat to watch it with director's commentary one day. before all of that and after dan and i put up craft show posters in the library, i submitted my two pluralist pieces to ms q. she wants me to change the longer one and give it to her by friday, monday at the latest. maybe i'll put those whales off until after the weekend...fjsdkjfsd. after the movie, i took the bus and met dan the cyclist at the mall. he was talking to jew mike when i got there. he showed us how to properly refill a napkin dispenser. i now have a leg up on all of the other job applicants. i need a job so i can buy colourful housewares from the dollarama and zellers. i am weird and am instantly attracted to bright colours. i probably looked retarded walking around stores today and zooming toward all of the bright colours. i finally bought inky pens, little knitting needles, weird stickers and cloned dogs. i don't get it either. dan and i walked home after in the dark. we watched american idol youtube videos because dan's clone is a contestant this year (jason castro). then we played chess and then checkers with the chess pieces. i lost both times. i did make pretty good penne and mashed potatoes, though. and i made three fish for his one. he is getting better, though. we knitted until after 4 in the morning, lol.
