Various mindnumbing dreadnoughts of the literary world currently loom on the horizon - the weeping wombs of Kate Chopin and Katherine Mansfield, Daniel Defoe's proposed modifications to eighteenth century bankruptcy laws, the traumas of life in the ex-colonies, and so on and so forth. In a bid to stave them off momentarily, I've decided to subject myself to the world of internet discourse:
